The yard includes 15 acres of equine pasture set in 650 acres of welcoming family run farm. We have miles of off road riding around our field edges across the whole of our farm, so you can ride for hours without having to ride along a road. we even mow them for you!
At Whittimere we understand your horse is a priority in your life. Whether your horse is a much loved pet, a happy hacker or a serious competition prospect we are here to help. The staff take time to get to know and care for your horse as an individual.

Yvonne Snelson is the yard manager. She is responsible for the day to day running of the yard. Yvonne is the first port of call for clients and staff.
Mark Snelson is responsible for the sales and distribution of hay, straw and bedding on and off the yard. Mark is often at hand to help with the livelier inmates! Mark & Yvonne live on site.

Mark & Yvonne's sons, Ben & Ali regularly get roped in to help with jobs on the yard on their days off !
Sue Snelson keeps all the accounts in order and makes sure all the bills are paid on time.
Ami has worked for Whittimere Stables since 2007.She has horses of her own which she trains & competes. Ami has a National Diploma in Horse Management, NVQ 1&2 in Horse Care and Management and NPTC in Health and Safety with Horses.
Hayley joined Whittimere Stables in January 2011.Hayley has 3 horses of her own including one she bred herself. Hayley has NVQ 2 in Horse Care and Management, BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management and NPTC level 2 in Health and Safety with Horses.
Lorna Brownhills has worked with horses all her life. She joined Whittimere Stables in 2018. Lorna has horses of her own and bred several foals.
